The film shares the stories of people who are finding healing and a sense of inner peace by singing mantras together with others just like them. We meet artists artists Deva Premal & Miten, Krishna Das, Lama Gyurme, Snatam Kaur, Jai Uttal and MC Yogi and they share how this practice has transformed their lives over the years.

"A beautiful film which captures the spirit of a music movement that is now spreading across the world. MANTRA is a must-see for anyone who wants to pause and take a look within, accompanied by soulful and uplifting music and singing.”

— Dr. Deepak Chopra, MD, Author of You Are The Universe

Susan and her amazing work at San Quentin is featured in the film. - There is a powerful segment with the men at San Quentin attending a kirtan led by Jai Uttal and Friends. Magic happened the night of this concert, and it translates into the film! As well, the men’s interviews about what they experience singing the names of the Divine together is illuminating. Despite all the ‘names’ in the film, these men and their heartfelt comments about the power of kirtan have been stealing the reviews and people’s hearts all over the world.
